Starfield Update is Live on All Platforms With Creation Kit Improvements

Players can now upload 2 GB Creations for the space-faring RPG. They can also add new icons and bundle Creations in the Store.

After launching for PC players in Steam beta earlier this month, the newest update for Bethesda’s Starfield is now available. You can check out the full patch notes here, but the most notable include Very Low display settings on PC, 2 GB Creation support, the ability to bundle Creations and various bug fixes.

These include rare movement locks in forced dialogue scenes, a potential crash in Andraphon’s main outpost when editing buildings, quicksaves being removed if used too quickly, and more. Frame rate drops that happened when using the scanner during extended sessions have also been fixed.

While 16:9, 16:10, and 21:9 resolutions have received more options, support has also been added for 32:9 and 32:10. And for that added bit of immersion, you’ll still be able to see celestial bodies in the sky after entering and exiting buildings.

Starfield is available for Xbox Series X/S and PC. A PS5 version is also rumored, with an announcement due sometime this year.
