Digital Sun’s follow-up to the hit dungeon-crawling/shop management rogue-like will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
With Cataclismo exiting early access, Digital Sun Games can focus on its next game, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault. The shop-keeping/dungeon-crawling action RPG is out this Summer and has received some new gameplay at the Triple-i Initiative showcase. Check it out below.
As with the first game, players control Will, who runs a shop selling relics and other goods during the day while venturing into ever-changing dungeons at night. You’ll take on devious enemies and rearrange loot in your backpack. These are listed for sale in your shop, with the gold going towards upgrading gear. Of course, you can invest in improving the shop with perks, decorations, and much more.
The biggest change from the first game is the full 3D art style, which retains the original’s vibrancy. With new dimensions to explore and threats to face, you have to wonder how Will’s journey ends.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It’s also out on day one for Game Pass.
