The party title is set to launch for the Nintendo Switch later this week, with pre-launch critical reception touting it as one of the series’ best offerings to date.
Nintendo is continuing to maintain impressive first-party support for the Switch even in the final leg of its lifecycle, and the next major release in line from the company – Super Mario Party Jamboree – is seemingly another one that’s going to be one worth keeping an eye on. That is, at least, what its reviews are suggesting.
Reviews for the party title started going live earlier today, and the critical consensus seems to be quite positive, with an aggregate Metacritic score of 82 for the title (based on 58 reviews, at the time of writing). That, incidentally, makes it the best-reviewed Mario Party game to date, surpassing the series’ previous outing, Mario Party Superstars, which has a Metacritic rating of 80.
In comparison, the first of the three Mario Party titles to release for the Switch, which is Super Mario party, has a Metacritic score of 76.
Super Mario Party Jamboree launches for Nintendo Switch on October 17.
