Capcom closed the Xbox Partner Preview showcase with a new gameplay trailer for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. The supernatural hack-and-slash title is also confirmed to launch in 2024. Check out how it plays below.
There are two phases in Kunitsu-Gami – daytime and nighttime. During the former, you guide the Spirit Stone Maiden on her path to the gate, purging the surroundings of defilement and saving villages to give them roles. Once night falls, you must fight the demons emerging from the gate, issuing commands to the villagers and utilizing special abilities.
The Maiden subsequently purifies the gate, and celebrations ensue. However, there are all kinds of threats to deal with, including a demon centipede. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will be coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC this year. It’s also launching on day one for Game Pass.
