The follow-up to 2014’s Lords of the Fallen is out now, featuring high-end graphics and a unique dual-realm mechanic.
Lords of the Fallen is out now on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The Souls-styled action RPG, developed using Unreal Engine 5, features high-end graphics, as well as a unique dual-realm mechanic that allows players to seamlessly travel between the Axiom realm and the Umbral realm.
Leading up to the game’s release, Lords of the Fallen got a launch trailer earlier this week, showcasing some of its world and brutal, fast-paced gameplay. Just a day before the game’s release, developer Hexworks had revealed that the PC version of the game does not make use of Denuvo’s DRM. The studio also went on to state that there are no plans to make use of the DRM in the future.
Early reviews for the title have indicated that the Xbox Series X/S version of the game falls behind the PC and PS5 releases on the technical side of things. The studio is working on updates for all platforms, but is also working on a special update for the Xbox Series X/S version of the game.
