Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – Patch 7.5 is Now Live, Improves Quality of Reflections

Fixes for creature and vehicle animations and binocular beacons not working with ray tracing disabled are also available.

Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has received a new patch. It’s not very big, but there are some essential fixes, like for creature and vehicle animations. Furthermore, there’s a fix for the binocular beacons not working when ray tracing is disabled.

The quality of reflections for when ray tracing is disabled has also improved. There will likely be more updates since Electronic Arts said in August that performance improvements for all platforms are a “top priority.” It recently released an update which “completely reworked” the 60 FPS Performance Mode on consoles to positive results.

Respawn Entertainment is also working on PS4 and Xbox One versions of the acclaimed action-adventure title. Though it hasn’t officially revealed a third game in the series, Cal Kestis actor Cameron Monaghan revealed at Ocala Comic Con that work had begun on the same. It’s unknown who will be directing the project since Stig Asmussen’s departure.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
