An update to the PlayStation Store has revealed when pre-loading will become available for Insomniac’s highly anticipated superhero sequel.
2023 still has a number of major upcoming releases up its sleeve, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has to bevery high on that list. Insomniac and Sony’s superhero sequel is promising improvements and expansions on its predecessors in key areas, from having two protagonists that you can freely switch between to having an open world map that’s twice as large as the one from the first two games. Now, it’s also been revealed when pre-loading for the game will become available.
Courtesy of an update to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s PlayStation Store page (spotted by Twisted Voxel), it’s been confirmed that pre-loading for the game will go live on October 13, a week before its launch. There is no early access bonus included in any of the game’s editions, so those dates is going to be universal. There’s no word yet on what the install size for the title will be, but presumably that will be revealed closer to release.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to launch for PS5 on October 20. New details on the game will be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con later this month.
