Independent developer One More Game today announced that SWAPMEAT, the third-person roguelite shooter where you swap body parts with the enemies you defeat to steal their abilities, is now in Early Access for PC and macOS via Steam. Join the ranks of Rangus Meats™ and experience relentless action co-op combat where every kill makes you stronger… and stranger. The Early Access version includes two solar systems (with three planets in each, for a total of six unique planets), up to four-player co-op multiplayer, four main difficulty levels (Easy, Normal, Hard and Nightmare – which has ten additional levels), and a ‘Random Solar Systems’ mode – a replayable experience designed to keep players engaged long after finishing the campaign. Through Nov. 1, the game will be $19.99 reflecting a 20% discount (regular MSRP $24.99).

Those who purchase the game during Early Access will receive the SWAPMEAT Founder’s Edition, offering exclusive items before the game’s full release. The Founder’s Edition includes one game key, an exclusive set of three in-game cosmetics (a Golden Spatula, “Carl’s Golden Antenna Bobber”, and the “Alt-Comedian Mask Head”), access to the “SWAPMEAT: Rare & Questionable Cuts” musical companion, and the ability to preview an upcoming solar system ahead of its official release. The “Rare & Questionable Cuts” concept album can also be purchased separately on Steam for $9.99 and features a collection of 10 ridiculous anthems inspired by the skewed world of SWAPMEAT.

In SWAPMEAT, players step into the boots of Meat Scientists working for Rangus Meats™, a galaxy-spanning megacorp whose innovations may or may not have triggered a galactic crisis. Your mission? Rip through hostile alien worlds, engage in exhilarating third-person combat, harvest DNA samples from the locals, and extract the planets’ meat cores. Whether solo or with an up to four-player co-op squad, you’ll battle through hordes of aliens, mutants, murderous robots, and beefy bosses for their meaty trophies.
