Wild Pals in Random Pal Mode are now level-locked depending on their region, gradually increasing as the player progresses.
Pocketpair’s Palworld has received a new update, reworking Random Pal mode and incorporating various fixes, including crashes on Xbox consoles and the Steam Deck. A workaround to address a bug which reset map data is also available.
Meanwhile, Random Pal Mode now locks the level of wild Pals based on their region. It wasn’t always the case, meaning you could face potentially overwhelming, higher-level Pals in the early going. The Pals are randomized, but their levels are now fixed and will increase as you progress, which should provide a smoother experience.
Other changes include guaranteed Dog Coins and a low chance of work suitability books from elemental chests, fixes for players rubberbanding, and the usual fixes for Pals getting stuck in bases. Check out the full patch notes below.
Palworld is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, with Pocketpair recently celebrating over 32 million players.
