Mecha BREAK Open Beta Starts February 23rd, New Trailer Showcases Mashmak Mode

The PvEvP mode sees players taking on hostile mechs, including massive bosses, and extracting after netting enough loot.

Amazing Seasun Games is gearing up for a new open beta of Mecha BREAK, its upcoming third-person competitive mech combat title. It will include the 6v6 battles while adding 3v3 combat and a new extraction mode, Mashmak. Check out the latest trailer below to see it in action.

Mashmak sees a team of three players diving into a hostile warzone where they must battle AI enemies and other players for loot. The former includes massive bosses and a capital ship with multiple turrets. Fortunately, you can harness different weapons via tactical loadouts and even pilot gliders with their own weapons.

Of course, as the trailer showcases, you’ll have to be wary of other players waiting for their chance to strike. Mecha BREAK’s next open beta starts on February 23rd at 2 AM PT for Xbox Series X/S and PC, with the game out in Spring (though it’s unknown if the PS5 version will arrive later).

Regarding post-launch support, the developer has confirmed new features like a shooting range, the option to walk around a space station, and more. A new mode revolving around boots-on-the-ground combat is also in the works, so stay tuned for updates.
