The long-awaited open world action RPG sequel will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on March 22.
2024’s cadence of major new releases is showing no signs of slowing down, and there’s another flurry of those on the horizon. In that group, however, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is probably the game that most seem to have their eye on, and as excitement surrounding its imminent launch continues to build, Capcom has shared details on the game’s exact global launch timings across all platforms.
On PC (i.e. Steam), Dragon’s Dogma 2 is primed for a simultaneous global release, which means it’ll be unlocking everywhere at once. If you’re on the West Coast in North America, that’ll be 5 PM on March 21, while in New Zealand, it’ll be 1 PM of March 22.
Meanwhile on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the game will unlock 9 PM on March 21 on the West Coast in North America, and at midnight local time everywhere else in the world- which means players will have the option to set their console’s region to New Zealand to be able to unlock the game early.
Of course, players can also get a headstart ahead of the game’s launch, with Dragon’s Dogma 2’s character creator available for free on all platforms, which will also allow you to transfer your created character to the full game.
