Remedy Entertainment is taking a page out of Helldivers 2 with its Requisitions, offering cosmetics that are unlockable in nonlinear order.
Remedy Entertainment’s FBC: Firebreak is out on June 17th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, and alongside the $39.99 Standard Edition, there’s a Deluxe Edition. Retailing for $49.99, it includes two Premium Voice Packs (complete with different dialogue), the Scorched Remnant skin for the Double-Barrel Shotgun, and the Apex Revision Firestarter Armor Set.
It also contains a Classified Requisition, “Firestarter.” Like the Premium Warbonds in Helldivers 2, it contains 36 premium cosmetic items like armor sets, sprays and weapon skins. All this is cosmetic only, though subsequent Classified Requisitions will require real money. A new Classified Requisition will become available every time a major update drops.
An Operational Requisition will also be available when the game launches and contains weapons, equipment and cosmetics unlocked with currency earned from playing the game. Remedy also confirms that all Requisitions are permanently available in-game, and you can unlock items in any order. Best of all, it’s possible to progress multiple Requisitions simultaneously.
