It’s raining sales for the Like a Dragon/Yakuza franchise on Steam, with titles like Judgment, Lost Judgment, and even Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth deeply discounted until November 7th. However, alongside slashing the price of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, RGG Studio has released a free trial.
Available until October 28th on Steam, it allows for playing four hours of the interquel. Players can thus follow the tale of Kazuma Kiryu, now going by the codename Joryu, and battle mysterious new threats utilizing two fighting styles – Yakuza and Agent. Or they can mess around in the world, singing karaoke, attempting to become pocket circuit champion, or battling in the arena.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is also available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Check out our review here. RGG Studio’s next title is Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, which is 1.3 to 1.5 times larger than Gaiden. It’s out on February 21st for consoles and PC
