“Our main focus right now is getting the whole game ready to receive our free Season 1 update this month,” Rocksteady confirmed.

Rocksteady Studios has outlined several changes coming to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, particularly for its Mutators, in future patches. Unfortunately, players will have to keep waiting. In a new Developer Update, the developer confirmed there won’t be a patch next week.

“Our main focus right now is getting the whole game ready to receive our free Season 1 update this month, which includes the new playable character Joker, as well as new gear, environments, and more. As a result, we won’t release a patch next week as we dedicate ourselves to testing fixes and ensuring they’re ready for implementation.”

It addressed various ongoing issues, specifically for login, matchmaking and Mastery progression. A login that doesn’t need a client-side patch is being investigated, though the team is looking into more fixes for future patches. The same goes for matchmaking, with server improvements also under consideration to address lag.

A recent fix for Mastery levels ensures new players will be safe from lack of progress. However, for those suffering from it before that went live, the next patch addresses the same. Several accounts also can’t progress through Raising Hell’s tiers. A fix for the same is being looked into.

Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
