Ubisoft has announced that the action-adventure title will now launch on October 5, a week ahead of its previously announced release date.
October is going to be jampacked with a glut of major new releases, with Assassin’s Creed Mirage, of course, being one of them. Pleasantly enough, though we’re usually used to seeing games being delayed, the upcoming open world action-adventure title’s launch has actually been brought forward, and though it’s still scheduled for October, it will be in our hands a bit sooner than previously anticipated.
Taking to Twitter, Ubisoft recently announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage has gone gold, which means principal development has wrapped up and the game’s master copy is now ready. Any work being done on it by now is likely to arrive in the form of pre-launch or day one patches.
Meanwhile, with the game’s launch still a couple of months away at a point where it’s already gone gold, Ubisoft has also brought its release forward. Previously set to launch on October 12, the game will now release a week early on October 5.
When it launches, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
