Brave Escape Launches on PS5 and XBOX Series X|S on July 24th
Independent developer Hit Start Studios is excited to announce that its two-player co-op platformer Brave Escape will officially launch on PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S on July 24th, 2026. The console release will include all major content updates released for the PC version since launch, including 45 additional levels, gameplay improvements, accessibility enhancements, visual upgrades, and expanded bonus content available from day one. The game will also support cross-platform co-op multiplayer between PC, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X|S players at launch.
Originally released on PC to a “Very Positive” reception on Steam, Brave Escape challenges two players to work together as Colin and Floyd – an unlikely duo navigating fast-paced hazards, precision platforming sequences, and handcrafted co-op challenges that demand communication, coordination, and split-second timing.
The game is designed around the unpredictable moments that emerge naturally during co-op play, whether players are perfectly coordinating their actions or scrambling to recover from chaotic mistakes together.
“We’ve continued expanding and refining Brave Escape since the original PC launch, and we’re excited that console players will get the full experience right from the start,” said Steve Ciaramitaro, Game Designer at Hit Start Studios. “Cross-platform support was especially important for us because Brave Escape is all about playing together, regardless of platform.”
