While we already know that the Joker is set to become a playable character in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s first season, Rocksteady Studios has now revealed just when we’ll be able to do that, and it’s on March 28, which is when the Suicide Squad game’s Season One will kick off.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Season 1 Release Info:
Release Date: March 28 (all platforms)
While the official patch notes aren’t available yet, here’s what Rocksteady Studios has revealed so far about Season One (via the game’s roadmap):
- The Joker as a New Playable Character
- New Joker-Themed Playable Environment
- Two Episodes with New Missions, Activities & Strongholds
- New Boss Fights & Enemy Variants
- New DC Villain-Themed Weapons & Gear
- New Riddler Content
Now, for those on PC who prefer to play the game on the Epic Game Store, Rocksteady has confirmed via the official Suicide Squad game Discord channel that the Epic Game Store version of Suicide Squad: KTJL will be out on March 26.
For those looking forward to more of the game’s narrative, Rocksteady has also confirmed that more of it (and Brainiac!) will continue in Season One!
While waiting on Season One to start, players might get a server-side patch in order to help with matchmaking and login errors, but the studio also announced that players shouldn’t expect a patch to be released before the new season kicks off, as the devs are busy prepping the game for the upcoming wave of new stuff.
Chances are, we’ll hear more about Season One within the week, and once we know more info, we’ll be sure to let our readers know about it ASAP.
