The survival crafting title reached 1,864,421 concurrent players recently, beating Counter-Strike 2’s all-time record on the platform.
As if it couldn’t beat any more records, Palworld is now the second-highest concurrently played game of all time on Steam. At 1,864,421 peak concurrent players, it’s beaten Counter-Strike 2’s record of 1,818,773. The only competition left is PUBG: Battlegrounds, with an all-time peak of 3,257,248 concurrent players.
It hasn’t even been a week for the survival crafting creature collection title, which recently crossed six million copies sold. Developer Pocketpair also revealed that peak concurrent players on all platforms hit 1.7 million recently, so it wouldn’t be farfetched to assume that figure is now over two million.
Palworld is available on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S while also playable on Game Pass. Check out our review– we awarded it a 7 out of 10. Despite the strong response on Steam, it’s received criticism on Xbox and the Microsoft Store due to bugs and other issues, which the developer explained is due to different versions and the length of the certification process.
