Assassin’s Creed Mirage, The Crew: Orlando Reportedly Delayed – Rumor

The next Assassin’s Creed could release between Q4 2023 and Q2 2024. It’s also reportedly developed on an “old” Assassin’s Creed engine.

After delays to high-profile titles like Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Skull and Bones, it seems Ubisoft is pushing back two more major releases. Dataminer @ScriptLeaksR6 on Twitter, who leaked the initial artwork for Assassin’s Creed Mirage (and more recently screenshots for Avatar), says it’s “likely delayed” along with The Crew: Motorfest.

There will apparently be more information at the next Ubisoft Forward (whenever it happens). While the new release window for Motorfest is unknown, the dataminer said that Mirage could release between Q4 2023 to Q2 2024. Furthermore, the latter is running on an “old” Assassin’s Creed engine, which they believe is based on a 2019 version of the same.

If true, this is all rough news for Ubisoft, which is reportedly expecting Assassin’s Creed Mirage to perform well. It was rumored to release in August 2023, and at this rate, it could launch as late as June 2024.
