Developer Blackbird Interactive has released a new behind-the-scenes video for its upcoming real-time strategy game Homeworld 3. The video features almost 13 minutes of behind-the-scenes, and was shot on location at the studio in Vancouver. Check it out below.
The video, created in collaboration with gaming publication PCGamer, goes in-depth on various aspects of Homeworld 3‘s development, such as the game’s new mechanics, and how the studio was inspired for its new designs.
The video also shows off some new details about Homeworld 3, including a deep dive on the game’s new cover-based tactics. Players will be able to make use of gigantic structures floating around in space to take cover, as well as create obstacles for their opponents.
Originally slated for release in February, Homeworld 3‘s launch was pushed back to March 8 earlier this month. The game will be coming to PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, and will be available for $59.99.
