Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Features Renowned Train to Busan Actor

Ma Dong-seok confirmed his cameo in the Kojima Productions’ sequel as a porter who definitely won’t throw hands against players.

Kojima Productions is no stranger to packing well-known actors, directors and celebrities into Death Stranding, and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is no exception. However, it also features the likes of actor and producer Ma Dong-seok. In a new trailer, Dong-seok confirmed a cameo appearance and how director Hideo Kojima contacted him years ago after watching one of his films.

This led to his appearance in the sequel, where he plays a porter (though he assured fans that he won’t hurt them). Based in South Korea, Dong-seok is known for films like The Neighbor and Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time but rose to prominence after the breakout success of Train to Busan. He has since starred in The Outlaws and Marvel Studios’ Eternals.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach launches on June 26th, exclusively for PS5. It will also support PlayStation 5 Pro, but Kojima Productions has yet to detail the enhancements. The final trailer arrives on the same day and features 180 shots with several new details.
