How does Ubisoft’s next title in the long-running series connect to Assassin’s Creed Origins and Valhalla? Find out here.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is out later this week, and unlike Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Valhalla, it returns to the series’ trademark stealth roots. Of course, the story is also important since it follows Basim 12 years before the events of Valhalla. To help illustrate the title’s place in the overall timeline, a new “Story So Far” trailer is available.
After becoming embroiled in a conspiracy that he knows nothing about, Basim goes from street thief to joining the Hidden Ones. The latter was founded nine centuries before the events of Mirage in Assassin’s Creed Origins by Bayak and his wife, Aya. Basim had an agenda in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but it’s interesting to see how the events of Mirage affected him.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage launches on October 5 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. Reviews will go live on October 4, but you can check out the leaked Trophy list here.
