The feature will allow players to take their accounts “anywhere, on any platform”, but further details are still pending.
TennoCon recently took place for Digital Extremes, focusing on announcements for its long-running free-to-play action RPG Warframe. One of the most significant announcements is that cross-save support is coming this year. It was announced in July 2021 with crossplay, the latter added to the game in December last year.
The official Twitter account doesn’t provide too many details, aside from players being able to take their account “anywhere, on any platform.” So, if you’re on PC and want to play on the go with Nintendo Switch before transferring back, that will be possible. On the other hand, you could also go from consoles to PC if your PS4 and Xbox One aren’t cutting it anymore.
Stay tuned for more details on cross-save when it goes live later this year. Warframe is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. It received a major open-world expansion earlier this year with The Duviri Paradox, which added some rogue-lite elements.
