PS5 players can pre-load the first-person magic-based shooter on August 19th at 9 PM PDT. It launches on August 22nd worldwide.
Ascendant Studios’ Immortals of Aveum has already gone gold before its release next week, and there’s good news for those with slower connections. The pre-load is available on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and the EA App, and for Xbox Series X/S players.
It’s 110 GB on the former and about 56.69 GB on the latter, so the extra time helps. However, PS5 players must wait until August 19th, at 9 PM PDT (or August 20th at 12 AM EDT/5 AM BST/4 AM UTC). Developed over five years, the magic-based first-person shooter is out on August 22nd worldwide after suffering a brief delay.
The story focuses on Jak, a Triarch Magus who joins the Order of the Immortals to participate in the Everwar between Lucium and Rasharn. Magic is in danger of being wiped out, and Jak may hold the key to turning the tides. He can harness three different Colors of magic, with dozens of gear pieces, Talents and more to augment his powers.
