Datamining of mobile title Pokemon Masters EX after a recent update suggests The Pokemon Company has a presentation scheduled for early next month.
Though it might be a bit too early yet for The Pokemon Company and Nintendo to be announcing any major new Pokemon games just yet, it seems that they do still have updates to share in the coming days nonetheless, details for which will seemingly be shared at a new Pokemon Presents livestream a few days from now.
As reported by @CentroLeaks on Twitter, datamining of the mobile title Pokemon Masters EX has unearthed a line of code following a recent update to the game, which references a promotional campaign tied to an upcoming Pokemon Presents livestream, seemingly set for August 8.
While it’s unlikely a new mainline Pokemon game will be announced just yet, there are still upcoming releases in the pipeline that could receive new details.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s first expansion, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero – Part 1: The Teal Mask, is set to release sometime this fall, while Part 2: The Indigo Disk is due out this winter. The Pokemon Company could also potentially look to share new details on Detective Pikachu Returns, which is set to launch in November.
