Bandai Namco’s free-to-play online action RPG is set to launch in the West for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S next year.
After Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, it’s clear for everyone to see that there’s a massive audience out there for well-made free-to-play online action RPGs, and Bandai Namco is one of several companies that’s looking to get in on the action with Blue Protocol, After having spent quite a bit of time in development, the online action RPG is making steady progress as it moves towards its release in the West next year, and Bandai Namco has now released a new trailer for it.
On top of offering another look at the game’s world and its gorgeous art style, the highlights various classes that will be available in the game at launch. These include the Blade Warden, who wields a sword and a shield; the Keen Strider, a bow and arrow-wielding ranged specialist; Spell Weaver, a staff-wielding mage; the Twin Striker, who comes equipped with two battle axes; and the Foe Breaker, who uses a massive sledgehammer-esque weapon. Blue Protocol launches in Japan on June 14 for PC, and in the West for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC sometime next year.
