Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart PC Requirements Revealed – 4K, Ray Tracing, and More

It’s possible to run the port at 720/30 FPS on Low settings with a hard-disk drive, but Nixxes recommends a solid-state drive.

In a now-removed post on Steam, Nixxes Software outlined the PC requirements for Insomniac’s Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart (thanks to ResetEra). Windows 10 64-bit (version 1909 or higher) and 75 GB installation space are required on all set-ups.

The minimum requirements (which deliver 720/30 FPS at Very Low settings) include an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 with 8 GB RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon RX 470. You can use an HDD, but a solid-state drive is recommended (and mandatory at higher settings).

Recommended requirements to hit 1080p/60 FPS on Medium settings include a Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM, and a GeForce RX 2060 or Radeon RX 5700. For playing on High settings at 1440p/60 FPS, you’ll need a Core i5-11400 or Ryzen 5 5600, a GeForce RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 6800 and 16 GB RAM.

For the Ultimate experience with High settings and Very High ray tracing at 4K/60 FPS, a Core i7-12700K or Ryzen 9 5900X, GeForce RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XTX and 32 GB RAM. When using ray tracing, it’s recommended to enable Nvidia DLSS.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is out on July 26th for PC.
