The update brings with it Starlight, Black Noir, and Homelander from The Boys, along with other features such as playing battle royale on the Vondel map and a new Gulag.
TV show The Boys is crossing over with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 to bring characters from the comic adaptation into the game. According to the announcement, Black Noir, Homelander, and Starlight from The Boys will come to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 as part of a mid-season update slated for July 12.
Each of the characters will be available as part of their own Operator Bundle. Starlight will be the first of the characters to come to the game on July 12, followed by Homelander on July 16 and Black Noir on July 20. Each of the Operator Bundles will be priced at 2,400 COD Points, and will include weapon charms, loading screens, emblems, and weapon stickers.
The mid-season update will also bring other features to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2, including the ability to play battle royale in Vondel, a new Gulag, and other features like Occupation Scan and the Signal Intelligence Contract returning.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 are available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
