The footage will be revealed in an upcoming 30-minute show, which will also have creative director Alain Jarniou in attendance.
Fans of the Test Drive franchise have been waiting for its next open world outing for a long time now, but with Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown on the horizon, there’s plenty of reason to be excited. And though details on the open world racer have been scant for some time, that will seemingly soon be changing.
Publisher Nacon and developer KT Racing have announced a TDU Connect event for July 12, which, according to the publisher’s press release, will reveal the game’s “first gameplay images”. What “images” refers to here exactly is unclear, but given the fact that it’s meant to be a 30-minute show, one would assume that gameplay footage will be shown off.
The show will also be attended by creative director Alain Jarniou, who will also reveal new details on the game, along with some “surprises”.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is scheduled to launch sometime in 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, though recent reports have suggested that the game may have been delayed to Q1 2024. Hopefully, Nacon will announce a firm release date for the title at the upcoming TDU Connect.
