Wizard with a Gun is Still Coming to Nintendo Switch

Galvanic Games is “actively working” on it and planning to release it later. “We want to make the Switch version as top-notch as possible.”

Galvanic Games’ Wizard with a Gun received a new trailer at Devolver Digital’s latest surreal Direct, showcasing the various gameplay aspects and a sweet animated trailer. It’s coming to Xbox Series X/S and PS5 along with the previously announced PC release, and there’s a single-player demo available now on Steam.

However, there was no mention of the Nintendo Switch version, which led some to believe it was cancelled. That’s not the case, the developer reassured on Twitter. It’s “actively working” on the same and will release it at a later date. “We want to make the Switch version as top-notch as possible, and for that, we need a bit more time.”

Wizard with a Gun is launching this year, with a release date yet to be confirmed. It features player-created wizards exploring the world after the Shatter to find Ancient Gears. You’ll pick up various materials and fight off hostile creatures using various firearms, magical bullets and cool dodge-roll mechanics. At some points, you have to shoot to fill in space in the world to traverse.
