Layered Weapons, new event quests and another fan-favorite monster are also incoming when the update arrives this month.
Monster Hunter Wilds’ next big Title Update arrives later this month, but its PlayStation.com page seemingly jumped the gun, revealing a release date of June 30th. The information has since been removed, but as posted by Gematsu, it confirms the return of Lagiacrus (alongside another fan-favorite monster).
The latest Arch-Tempered monster is Utha Duna, which awards the Gamma variant of its armor set as a reward. Players can also look forward to Layered Weapons to change their weapon’s appearance without affecting stats and new event quests that reward cosmetics like a Doshaguma mask. Of course, various paid cosmetics will also be added such as a cyberpunk-ish Layered Armor set.
Stay tuned for more details and a proper trailer at the next Capcom Spotlight showcase on June 24th. It will also feature new details for Resident Evil Requiem, Street Fighter 6 and Pragmata.
Monster Hunter Wilds is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
