Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ Next Title Update Arrives on June 25th, New Ally Revealed

Voiced by Robbie Daymond of Critical Role fame, Rufino utilizes a flintlock pistol and will be part of the update’s new story quest.

Ubisoft didn’t really have much to announce during the massively hyped Summer of Gaming (aside from a release date for Anno 117: Pax Romana). However, the next Title Update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows is coming this month as planned. A new video tweet also reveals the next ally that players can recruit – Rufino, voiced by Critical Role’s Robbie Daymond.

Appearing in a one-shot promotional ad for the title, Rufino has a flintlock pistol, which could provide some ranged firepower for Yasuke and Naoe. He’s also part of the new story, which adds a free story quest.

The Title Update goes live on June 25th and also includes new difficulty settings, gameplay immersion options, and an open-world alarm system. You can also enable headgear to appear in cutscenes for extra immersion (or ridiculousness).

The development team is also working on adding New Game Plus, more special collaborations, additional story content, and so on. The first story expansion, Claws of Awaji, is also out later this year (allegedly in September).
