Learn more about the events afflicting the Federal Bureau of Control in the new co-op shooter, out now on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
Remedy Entertainment’s first-ever co-op shooter, FBC: Firebreak, is now available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It’s also playable on Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium. Check out the launch trailer below, which continues the Federal Bureau of Control’s puppet-style educational format.
Set several years after the events of Control, the FBC and Oldest House are still under lockdown following an invasion by the Hiss. Director Jesse Faden thus authorizes Firebreak, led by Hank, to corral the various preternatural phenomena, from an out-of-control furnace to rampant sticky notes. Players can also encounter corrupted Altered Items, which afflict different status conditions.
Check out our review for FBC: Firebreak here – we gave it a seven out of ten, praising the gunplay, art direction, and uniqueness of the Crisis Kits while criticizing the mission structure, interface design, and lack of content. Remedy will address the latter with the first major update, adding a new Job and location this Fall.
