MindsEye Pre-Loads are Now Available, Update 2 Brings “Key Final Refinements”

The launch update includes “gameplay improvements, visual polish, stability fixes, and performance tuning,” per the developer.

Build A Rocket Boy’s debut title, MindsEye, launches at 5 PM UTC/6 PM BST/1 PM EDT today, as revealed in a new Reddit post by the team. Pre-loads are live on all platforms, and Update 2 is ready for installation.

The update offers several “key final refinements” for the title, including “gameplay improvements, visual polish, stability fixes, and performance tuning.” While it wasn’t initially available for Xbox Series X/S due to a certification delay, the issue has seemingly been alleviated.

It’s worth noting that some commenters have reported pre-ordering the title on Steam but being unable to pre-load. The developer hasn’t issued any response, so stay tuned for further updates.

MindsEye launches on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC and is the first title from former Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies since 2013’s Grand Theft Auto 5. Of course, as the developer likes to remind everyone, the launch is only the beginning. It has several updates in the pipeline for the coming months (including a Hitman collaboration) and an open-world free-roam multiplayer sequel for next year.
