The director will reveal all about the sequel before its June 26th launch but says the next trailer won’t showcase the story.
Kojima Productions still has a month before Death Stranding 2: On the Beach’s release, but far be it from director Hideo Kojima to stop the hype. In the latest episode of the Koji 10 radio show (translation by Genki on Twitter), he revealed that the final trailer would debut a week or two before launch.
However, as always, there’s a catch. While Kojima promised it has “a lot (of new information)” and that he will “reveal it all,” the trailer will be on the short side. Furthermore, it won’t focus on the story, which is ideal for those who want to go in with minimal spoilers. If they can deduce what is and isn’t a spoiler, that is.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach launches on June 26th for PS5. It went gold earlier this month when various previews revealed new details, including that the main story could be 70 hours long. Fans can also expect Quality and Performance modes on the base PS5; details on the PS5 Pro version are still pending.
