Blanka specializes in quick movement and confusing his opponent, while Dhalsim is good at controlling space and anti-air attacks.
The open beta for Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 is ongoing, allowing players to play online in the Battle Hub with characters like Luke, Jamie, Guile, Ryu, Kimberly and more. However, two characters that aren’t available are Blanka and Dhalsim. They’re part of the launch roster, and thanks to some new Character Guide videos, we can learn more about their respective play styles.
Veterans of the series will be familiar with their tactics. Blanka has some movement and charging abilities that confuse opponents (like Rolling Attack) and bypass their guard. Dhalsim can be even more unpredictable with his extensive reach and projectiles. He’s especially good at subduing airborne attacks and can close the distance with teleports.
Street Fighter 6 is out on June 2nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Today is the last day of the open beta, so jump in and try out the new Drive Gauge mechanics and characters. Head here for other details on the upcoming fighter.
