Release date set for 24th April
Sandfall Interactive has revealed its promising PS5 title Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has now gone gold, meaning work on the 1.0 version of the RPG is now complete. The developer shared the news on Twitter, where it said it is “incredibly grateful for all the support, and we can’t wait for you to experience the world we’ve created”.
The turn-based RPG comes to PS5 on 24th April 2025 and represents one of the year’s most promising games — from a new IP standpoint especially. First confirmed in June 2024, it’s continued to impress in trailers and gameplay ever since.
We recently played a three-hour demo of the RPG, concluding: “Regardless of whether you’re a big JRPG fan or not, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a game you should be looking out for. Its impeccable art design and high-concept premise make it incredibly easy to be drawn into its world. Great character drama and a growing depth to character builds and combat will invest you even further.”
