The First Berserker: Khazan Has Gone Gold

Launching on March 27th, the Souls-like action RPG sees players as disgraced general Khazan from the Dungeon and Fighter franchise.

Nexon’s The First Berserker: Khazan has officially gone gold. Based on the Dungeon and Fighter franchise, the Souls-like action RPG launches on March 27th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. While principle development has wrapped, there will likely be a day-one patch for any remaining issues.

Set during the reign of the Los Pollos Empire, the story follows the once-legendary general Khazan (voiced by Ben Starr of Final Fantasy 16 fame). After the betrayal at the hands of the king, he’s sentenced to exile and runs afoul of the Blade Phantom. While revenge seems the best option, Khazan must struggle with the Phantom’s responsibilities.

Offering around 80 hours of gameplay, multiple endings, and New Game Plus for a greater challenge, The First Berserker: Khazan looks like a meaty experience. A free demo is available now on all platforms and includes an Easy Mode for those keen on the story. Stay tuned for more details before its release in the coming weeks.
