Elden Ring: Nightreign Will Get “Additional DLC” by Q4 2025

The co-op title’s Steam listing previously indicated “Additional playable characters and bosses” before the wording changed.

Elden Ring: Nightreign is an anomaly – a co-op rogue-lite battle royale experience that FromSoftware insists isn’t live service. However, that doesn’t mean it won’t release updates or additional content, as revealed in its Steam listing.

Spotted by PC Gamer and since altered, the listing seemingly said, “Additional DLC – Additional playable characters and bosses.” It has since changed to: “*Additional DLC will be available by Q4 2025.” While this could have been an official announcement down the line, FromSoftware may have let the cat out of the bag early.

It’s also worth noting that despite saying “by Q4 2025,” the DLC could launch before that period. Since Elden Ring: Nightreign is out on May 30th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC, adding new characters and bosses so late would only make sense if an expansion is planned.

Time will tell, so stay tuned for updates. Elden Ring: Nightreign held its first closed network test over the weekend, which saw its fair number of issues but was otherwise received well.
