The announcement comes two months after update 2 of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was released. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been an immense success for developer MachineGames, as well as Bethesda and Xbox. Back in January, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced that the game had been played by more than 4 million players. This would include players that bought the game, as well as those playing through Game Pass.
The game wasnāt too far behind in terms of sales either, becoming the second-best selling game in the United States shortly after release. The game also saw quite a bit of critical acclaim, which was then celebrated by MachineGames with a trailer showcasing all of its accolades.
While the future of the game is uncertain, rumours have indicated that the success of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle might have sparked a decision to work on more games based on the Indiana Jones franchise.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is available on PC and Xbox Series X/S. A PS5 release is also planned for release in Spring 2025.
