Lunar Remastered Collection Won’t Feature Difficulty Options

However, the remastered compilation will provide an option to turn off the blur effect on the top and bottom of the screen.

GungHo Online Entertainment’s Lunar Remastered Collection, which collects Lunar: Silver Star Story and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue, is out in the coming months. To address questions from fans, a new FAQ is available, which confirms that the collection won’t have difficulty options.

Furthermore, players can switch off the blur effect at the top and bottom of the screen while playing. The previously-confirmed Classic Mode is also available for those who want to experience the original visuals.

Other notable quality-of-life features include support for wide-screen displays, support for English, French, German, and Japanese, and new English voice acting. You can also adjust the speed of battles and leverage “improved strategy settings” (which have yet to be detailed). Stay tuned for further details in the coming weeks.

Lunar Remastered Collection launches on April 18th for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, retailing for $49.99 digitally. Physical editions will also be available for $54.99 via Amazon in North America.
