Star Wars Outlaws PS5 Pro

Ubisoft has patched another PSSR toggle into the PS5 Pro version of one of its games: Star Wars Outlaws. Available via update 1.5.0, a new “Upscaler Type” option can be found in the settings that lets PS5 Pro owners switch between PSSR and FSR. The update also makes the three graphics modes from the base PS5 version available on PS5 Pro alongside a mode for outputting 60 frames-per-second.

This is the second game Ubisoft has updated to give PS5 Pro owners the option of disabling the upgraded console’s features, as PSSR can introduce visual glitches like shimmering. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was updated with the toggle last week, and now Star Wars Outlaws has it too. Ubisoft announced it is investigating the PS5 Pro patch for Avatar, so a fix may be coming soon.
