The open world action RPG will release a week earlier than previously planned, as per developer Warhorse Studios, while a new story trailer is also arriving soon.
February is going to be a ridiculously packed month, and though Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is certainly one of the month’s more prominent and anticipated releases, developer Warhorse Studio has decided it wants to go early and get ahead of the competition. Specifically, the game’s release has been brought forward by a week.
Taking to Twitter, the studio announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is now set to release a handful of day earlier than previously planned. Previously set for February 11 (the same day that Civilization 7 also releases), the game is now due out on February 4.
Warhorse Studios says it has “a bunch of more exciting news” that it will be sharing “in the following days”. That will kick off with a new story trailer premiering tomorrow, December 5, and while the developer hasn’t gone into what other things it plans on sharing, presumably, we’re looking at a new showing at The Game Awards next week as well.
In addition to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and the aforementioned Civilization 7, February will also see the launch of other major titles such as Monster Hunter Wilds, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Avowed, Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, and Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, among others.
Upon release, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
