Nvidia’s AI-powered upscaling technology offers massive performance gains for RTX 40 series GPUs at 4K and max settings.
GSC Game World’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is out tomorrow and confirmed to support Nvidia DLSS 3 and Reflex at launch. Nvidia has uploaded a new trailer showcasing the impact of DLSS 3 at 4K and the performance gains offered. Check it out below.
If that’s not enough, this article offers more GPU-specific numbers at 4K at max settings with DLSS 3 and Frame Generation enabled. On the base GeForce RTX 4070, PC players can get 73.6 FPS (compared to 31.1 with DLSS off). The RTX 4070 Super runs the game at 87 FPS, the RTX 4070 Ti Super reaches 100 FPS, and the RTX 4080 Super hits 112 FPS. Those who own an RTX 4090 can achieve 120 frames per second.
These results are in Super Resolution Performance Mode with an Intel Core i9-14900K, 64 GB of RAM and Windows 11 installed. Meanwhile, Nvidia Reflex reduces latency by up to 45 percent on PC, allowing for more responsive gameplay.
