The compilation includes 14 classic titles and a brand-new experience, Tetris Time Warp when it launches later this year.
Tetris Forever launches sometime this year, offering a compilation of 15 games, 14 classics and one brand new, that define the puzzler. After announcing the first few titles, Digital Eclipse has outlined the full list, starting with the original Tetris, released in 1984. Check them out in the latest trailer.
It was followed by Tetris (48K Version), released in 1988 for the Apple 2. Then we have Bullet-Proof Software’s Tetris, Hatris (the Famicom, NES and Game Boy versions), Tetris 2 + Bombliss, Super Bombliss, and Super Bombliss DX. Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss, Tetris Battle Gaiden, Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss Genteiban, Super Tetris 3, and Super Bombliss for the Super Famicom make up the rest.
Several titles will launch outside Japan for the first time, but that’s not all. A new title, Tetris Time Warp, is also included, with players switching between the series’ various eras on the fly. If that wasn’t enough, Digital Eclipse may add more titles to it, either at launch or post-release.
Tetris Forever is coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS4, and PS5.
