Rebellion’s recently announced Sniper Elite spinoff is scheduled to release in 2025 for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Game Pass.
The Sniper Elite series’ brand of stealth gameplay is something we’re always down for more of, and more is exactly what we’re going to get next year. Earlier this month, Rebellion announced Sniper Elite: Resistance, a spinoff set parallel to Sniper Elite 5 that will see SOE agent Harry Hawker stepping in as the protagonist while on a mission in Occupied France.
Now, we’ve got a good chunk of new gameplay footage from the stealth game to dive into. Courtesy of IGN, nine minutes of gameplay footage have been uploaded, showcasing typically expansive map design with a number of different options available for players in terms of how they want to progress. The gameplay showcases plenty of stealthy kills, the series’ classic (and brutal) x-ray killcams, and even some out-and-out firefights. Check out the gameplay below.
Sniper Elite: Resistance is due out in 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2025, with a specific release date currently unknown. It will also be available via Game Pass at launch.
