Grinding Gear Games has finally announced when the long-awaited action RPG will release in early access, and there isn’t too much of a wait left.
The original Path of Exile is still going strong, especially in the wake of its Settlers of Kalguur expansion, but excitement surrounding its full-fledged follow-up remains high, and we now know exactly when we’ll be able to get our hands on it.
At Gamescom Opening Night Live, Grinding Gear Games unveiled a new trailer that offered glimpses of the upcoming action RPG’s world, story, and gameplay, while also finally announcing a firm release date. It’s been confirmed that Path of Exile 2 will launch in early access on November 15.
As previously confirmed, Path of Exile 2 will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. It will feature cross-progression and cross-play multiplayer, as well as support for couch co-op on consoles. Upon its early access release, its endgame will also entail over 100 maps, each coming with their own boss.
