Explore the Wasteland to save its citizens from the Blot and discover all kinds of things, including levels based on classic films.
THQ Nordic’s Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed has received some new gameplay, highlighting the remake’s gameplay and revamped visuals. The story sees Mickey Mouse venturing to the Wasteland, a place of “forgotten things”, to cleanse it of the Blot (which he inadvertently caused).
Utilizing the Magic Paintbrush, Mickey ventures through the world, cleaning it up and restoring color. He can use different powers, like thinner to turn enemies into friendlies, and now traversal skills, including dashing, sprinting, and a ground pound. There are trapped denizens to see free and secrets to discover, including chests and hidden paths. Players will also enter paintings to traverse levels based on classic films like Steamboat Willie.
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed launches on September 24th for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders get 24 hours of early access and a costume pack that transforms Mickey into Steamboat Willie, the Brave Little Tailor, and a football player.
