The developer’s HQ continues to focus on the Forza Horizon games, with the other two offices focusing on the upcoming Fable.
Playground Games, the developer of the Forza Horizon series and the upcoming Fable reboot, seems to have opened a new, third studio.
Spotted by a user on ResetEra, Playground Games’ LinkedIn page indicates that the company has opened up a third office. Like its previous two offices, it looks like British developer’s third studio is also in Leamington.
As per Playground, while its HQ will continue to focus on the Forza Horizon series, the other two studios (including the most recently established one) will focus on the development of Fable.
“Today, Playground has three world-class studios in Leamington Spa,” the developer’s LinkedIn bio reads. “In our original HQ, we continue to support and grow the huge, vibrant Horizon community. In our new studios on the other side of town, we are excited to be developing Fable, a new beginning for the legendary franchise.”
Fable is in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC, and is due out in 2025. As for Forza Horizon, there’s no word yet on when the series’ next instalment will arrive.
