Star Wars Outlaws Showcases Stealth, Ship Combat, and More in New Gameplay

10 minutes of new gameplay footage showcase more of the upcoming open world title in action ahead of its late August release.

With Star Wars Outlaws set to launch in a little over a month, we’ve been seeing an increasing amount of gameplay for the open world action-adventure title, and courtesy of IGN, we have another 10 minutes to look at.

Newly uploaded gameplay showcases an entirely new mission that sees Kay tracking down an Expert – a Jawa technician – who she’s hoping will install a laser turret on her ship, the Trailblazer. For that, however, Kay will need to bring back a tooth from a sarlacc’s second mouth in return.

The mission tasks Kay with finding a dead sarlacc, climbing down into the pit, and extracting a tooth from its second mouth. That involves some light traversal and platforming challenges, though soon after Kay exits the sarlacc’s corpse, she’s accosted by a bandit who steals the tooth from here.

From there, she follows the bandit back to his base, where we get to see plenty of combat and stealth gameplay footage, showcasing Kay making use of Nix’s unique abilities and various different blaster modules.

After retrieving the tooth, she escapes on her speeder, following which the Jawa Expert outfits the Trailblazer with a laser canon. The gameplay demonstration ends with some space flight and combat, showing the ship seamlessly flying up from the planet’s surface into space and engaging in some dogfighting with its newly outfitted laser canon. Check out the gameplay below.

Star Wars Outlaws launches on August 30 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
